Mr. Tripathi joined Zont in 2005 and is a senior vice president and general counsel in the Madrid office. He is responsible for the legal affairs of Zont, including legal issues related to Zont registration as an investment adviser in numerous jurisdictions and structuring, negotiating, and monitoring private market investment transactions on behalf of Zont and its clients.

Before joining Zont, Mr. Tripathi was counsel at Boeing Capital Corporation, a financial services subsidiary of The Boeing Company, where he structured and negotiated asset-based financings and implemented several corporate compliance programs. Prior to that he was a corporate associate with the law firm O’Melveny & Myers in its Los Angeles office, and an attorney for Occidental Oil and Gas Corporation. Mr. Tripathi received a BA in economics and political science from Baylor University in 1990 and a JD from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 1994.
